Common Mallow

A biennial that flowers from June until September. The flowers are mauve, dark-veined and funnel-like with five petals. It is a hairy plant that can grow up to 1.5 metres tall, however the hairy stems are frequently sprawling. The five-lobed leaves are hairy.
