This tiny fungus is also known as the Slippery Mycena. Its stipe is covered in a thick coating of slippery slime. The convex cap, 5-15mm across, is whitish or dirty yellow. The bonnet creates foxfire, a bluish-green bioluminescent glow that is cold to the touch.
