Tansy

Tanacetum vulgare

Tansy is an aromatic plant that typically grows in disturbed areas and rough grassland. It features fern-like leaves arranged alternately along the stem and clusters of yellow flower-heads that bloom from July to October. These flower-heads consist of numerous small flowers known as 'disc florets,' but lack outer 'ray florets,' resembling 'golden buttons.'
