Mugwort

Artemisia vulgaris

The plants produce tiny composite flowers from July to September, which range from red to yellow and turn brown as they mature. The upright stems are grooved and often have a reddish or purple hue. The pointed-tipped leaves are green on the top and whitish underneath. They emit an aromatic scent.
