Mouse-ear Hawkweed

Pilosella officinarum

Mouse-ear Hawkweed is a perennial plant that grows on dry grassland from May to July. It features lemon-yellow composite flower heads that measure 20 to 30 mm in diameter. The outer florets typically have red stripes on the underside. The spoon-shaped leaves, covered in fine hairs, arrange themselves in a rosette at the base of the flower stem.
