Lily of the Valley

Convallaria majalis

Lily of the Valley is a native wildflower that spreads through underground rhizomes, often forming dense colonies in shaded areas. The flowers, shaped like bells, tend to droop to one side on the stem, while the leaves emerge from the base of the plant. It is important to note that the plant is highly toxic and should not be handled.
