Different to most lichens in the UK because this species grows on leaves. The picture shows a holly leaf that has lost its glossy sheen. This has been caused by the lichen which appears as tiny black dots. Identification confirmed with a microscope.

Lepraria Lichens are known as Dust Lichens.
