Common Plume

Emmelina monodactyla

This species can be found flying year-round. The wings range in colour from off-white to light brown. Only the outer third of each wing is divided into plumes. When at rest, the wings are kept tightly rolled up. The larvae feed on bindweed (Convolvulus).
