The Light Grey Tortrix (Cnephasia incertana), Grey Tortrix (C. stephensiana), Flax Tortrix (C. asseclana), and Scarce Grey Tortrix (C. genitalana) have a very similar appearance and can only be accurately identified through the dissection of their genitalia. Therefore, this specimen has been recorded as an aggregate. All four species feed on herbaceous plants.
