Magpie

Pica pica

The Magpie is characterised by its black-and-white feathers and long tail. Upon closer inspection, the black feathers exhibit a purplish-blue iridescent shine on the wings and a green sheen on the tail. As with other species in the Crow family, Magpies are known for their intelligence.
