Song Thrush
Turdus philomelos
With its nest delicately lined with mud, the Song Thrush crafts a cosy home fit for its future brood. It is smaller than its cousin the Mistle Thrush. What truly sets the Song Thrush apart is its remarkable voice, a powerful serenade that fills the air. They typically feed on snails, which are broken open by striking against a stone with a quick motion of the head.
