HISTORY OF ILFORD

Novelty Postcard
The Cynicus Publishing Company began publishing colour postcards in 1902. The card has no dividing line on the back indicating it was published around that time. This postcard was not used postally, but had the following message across the back so persumably was delivered in person: "Dear M, If you study this car very carefully you will perhaps see me sitting on the pole. I will put a cross over myself."
